I'm originally from the Netherlands where I’ve been offering NVC training since 2015.
I completed my certification in 2018. Of all the tools and methods I’ve encountered in my journey as a human, social worker, and coach NVC has stood out to me for its clarity, depth, and its unique combination of simplicity and power. I moved to Barcelona in 2024 so I'm excited to continue offering courses and retreats here.

When I first heard about Nonviolent Communication, I thought this would not be for me…
I'm so happy I stayed curious enough to find out NVC is not for people with temper problems, it is much more about knowing and understanding myself and others in a deeper way. And althoug life will always be challenging, I'm so grateful for the countless positive effects NVC has had on me. I hope to share them with you some day.
I'm originally from the Netherlands where I’ve been offering NVC training since 2015. For 14 years I worked in the healthcare field and I’ve organized my own NVC courses and retreats. I specialized in using NVC in assertive outreach with people facing addiction. Later I worked as a team coach and NVC trainer for social workers. I offered individual- and team coaching and facilitated moral dialogue as chair of an ethics committee.
I completed my CNVC certification in 2018, my assessor Gina Lawrie guided me through the process. Of all the tools and methods I’ve encountered in my journey as a human, social worker, and coach NVC has stood out to me for its clarity, depth, and its unique combination of simplicity and power. So I'm excited to continue offering courses and retreats here in Barcelona.
